This event is completely free of charge. If you are interested in building and living in ecovillages, housing co-ops, landtrusts, affordable student housing, tentcities, educational housing, hostels or any type of shared housing group, please join us at this event! You are encouraged to bring your ideas and proposals regarding building a new community. We also greatly welcome those who are just curious or interested inliving in a community and planning the creation of a community. Thank you.

We will also have a special presentation by Evan Schoepke and Michael Kelly from the Ecocity group regarding building a new Ecocity.

And another Special presentation by a group working to form an international alliance of Ecovillages and Ecocities.

Following this meeting, from 7pm-8pm, we will have an Emergency Solidarity and Support group meeting for Camp Quixote, Olympia's Tent City with a presentation by Camp Quixote members.

If you are in an activist or community group and would like to make a 10 minute presentation just show up (and give one starting at 6pm though the event starts at 5:15pm). We have the room reserved until 9pm.

The Annual A World Beyond Capitalism (AWBC) Conference 2007, the Third Annual International Multiracial Alliance Building Peace Conference is gearing up for another great year of networking for a better world! This conference is of special interest to FreeSchool activist as the AWBC enables anyone to teach workshops at the conference on a walk-up basis without approval, free of charge (as long as they are not administrative personnel of a multinational corporation or government agency).

As you know, once again no registration or pre-registration is necessary for the conference. The conference does not charge anyone for any services. No one will be turned away. All workshops, meals, tea, coffee, all festivals, community childcare, camping space and exhibition space in the International Grassroots and Networking Exhibition are all completely free of charge.
Countless Exhibitors will be a part of the Grassroots Exhibition at the AWBC 2007. Help make this conference possible by volunteering and organizing it!

Families and children are always very welcome. It is a Finger-food (snack food) Potluck style meeting.

Bring fruits (grapes, tangerines, oranges, etc), vegetables (cherry tomatoes, etc.,) if you have no idea what to bring. Cookies, chips and hummus are always popular and disappear quickly. ☺
