[olympiaworkers] Organized Workers for Labor Solidarity

Dear friends and labor activists,
An invite from Organized Workers for Labor Solidarity (OWLS)

An evening to toast 2007
— a year of labor solidarity!

You are warmly invited to join Organized Workers for Labor Solidarity
in a fun-filled evening to mark a year of activism — defending
immigrant rights, picketing with grocery and hotel workers, marching
against the war, and more! We'll eat, drink, and celebrate our
accomplishments, and raise a little cash to make a splash in 2008!

We'll also watch the inspiring documentary Harlan County USA, about a
miners' strike in Kentucky, where workers and their families held out
against company violence, hired thugs and scabs for over a year to
win a first union contract.

We hope to see you!

Saturday, December 15
